Known for its incredibly light and airy crust, pinsa is a delicious Italian twist on traditional pizza that’s easier to digest and even more flavorful. And now, with the Pinsa Maxi, you can enjoy this modern take on an Italian favorite in an extra-large size!

To celebrate, we’ve put together a simple and fresh recipe featuring turkey breast, mozzarella, tomato, and arugula . It’s the perfect way to showcase the incredible texture and flavor of our new Pinsa Maxi.

INGREDIENTS:

  • 1 Fresco Piada Pinsa Maxi (pre-baked)
  • 7 oz thinly sliced turkey breast 
  • 2 cups fresh arugula
  • 1 large tomato, thinly sliced
  • 7 oz mozzarella cheese, sliced or shredded
  • 1-2 tablespoons olive oil for drizzling
  • Balsamic glaze (optional)
  • Salt and pepper to taste

INSTRUCTIONS:

Step 1: Preheat Your Oven
  1. Start by preheating your oven to 400°F. If you’ve got a pizza stone, toss it in there—it’ll help give your Pinsa Maxi a crispy, perfect crust.
Step 2: Add Mozzarella and Bake
  1. Lay the Pinsa Maxi on a baking sheet or right on your hot pizza stone.
  2. Spread the mozzarella evenly across the pre-baked crust.
  3. Drizzle a bit of olive oil over the cheese for extra flavor and to help it melt beautifully.
  4. Pop it in the oven and bake for about 5-7 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly, and the crust is golden and crisp.
Step 3: Add Fresh Toppings
  1. Once the mozzarella is melted and the pinsa is hot, take it out of the oven.
  2. Arrange the fresh tomato slices on top of the mozzarella.
  3. Lay the thin slices of turkey breast right over tomatoes.
  4. Scatter the arugula generously over the top.
  5. Finish it off with a little more olive oil, and if you’re feeling fancy, a drizzle of balsamic glaze for a sweet and tangy kick.
  6. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Step 4: Serve and Enjoy
  1. Slice your Pinsa Maxi into portions and serve it up while the mozzarella is still warm and gooey, and the fresh toppings are at their peak.
