INGREDIENTS
Servings: 2
2 Fresco Piada USA Piadina
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 garlic clove, minced
2 cups fresh spinach, washed and chopped
Salt and pepper to taste
4 slices fresh mozzarella (or 1/2 cup shredded)
Fresh basil leaves (optional, for garnish)
DIRECTIONS
STEP 1: SAUTÉ THE SPINACH
Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add the garlic and cook for 30 seconds until fragrant. Add the spinach, season with salt and pepper, and sauté for 2–3 minutes until wilted. Set aside.
STEP 2: ASSEMBLE THE PIADINA
Lay out the Frescopiada piadine on a clean surface. On one half of each piadina, layer sautéed spinach and mozzarella. Fold in half.
STEP 3: HEAT & MELT
Place the folded piadine on a non-stick skillet or grill pan over medium heat. Cook for 2–3 minutes per side until golden grill marks appear and the cheese is melted.
STEP 4: SERVE
Slice into wedges, garnish with fresh basil leaves, and enjoy warm.

Tips & Variations
- Add a pinch of nutmeg to the spinach for an extra layer of flavor.
