Chicken Parm Piadina with Mozzarella & Marinara
Sep 11, 2026
Chicken Parm, the piadina way
Chicken Parm is one of those combinations that never disappoints: crispy chicken, rich tomato sauce, melted mozzarella and Parmigiano.
Here, those familiar flavors are tucked inside a warm, thin piadina for an easy lunch or dinner that comes together in just a few minutes.
Ingredients
For 1 piadina
- 1 Fresco Piada piadina
- 1 small breaded chicken cutlet, cooked and sliced
- 3 tbsp marinara sauce
- 2 oz mozzarella, shredded or thinly sliced
- 1 tbsp freshly grated Parmigiano Reggiano
- Fresh basil leaves
- Extra virgin olive oil, optional
How to make it
Warm the piadina in a skillet over medium heat according to the package directions.
Spread the marinara sauce over one half of the piadina, leaving a small border around the edge.
Add the sliced crispy chicken, then top with mozzarella and Parmigiano Reggiano.
Cover the skillet for about 30–60 seconds, just until the mozzarella begins to melt.
Add a few fresh basil leaves, fold the piadina in half and serve immediately.
Make it even easier
A good-quality store-bought breaded chicken cutlet or chicken tender works perfectly when you want a quick meal.
You can also use leftover grilled chicken for a lighter version, although the crispy cutlet gives you the most classic Chicken Parm flavor.
